Flatacraft 3 water ingress from transom

This Flatacraft maybe old but its generally in good condition. It had some minor leaks in the tubes which have been fixed. Its was fine until I used it with the outboard (2.5 hp) and then it started to fill with water. Got someone to look at it (in Turkey) but it still leaks slightly. I can't see any obvious fault at the join of the fabric with the transom inside or out. How can I go about fixing it? I thought I could support it vertically with the transom down and fill inside with some sealer to soak into the crack and close it. There probably is a better way!
Also any ideas how to fix the grab handles - the webbing has perished and broken.
