I use Farecla Gel Coat restorer on a DA polisher using a hard cutting pad and plenty of water.

G3 on a foam compounding head on a slow speed 2000 rpm & keep it damp too much water just flings off the compound
A damp sponge to start off cutting will give faster results then more water for a finer finish

Thanks guy, I think I am going to order up some G3 and G10 its for a Dory I just picked up and inside its very chalky and needs a good going over.

Anyone use Starbrite/Meguiars as Force 4 stocks their products and local, if not will just order the G3 as it seems better value for money anyway.

You should be able to get G3 from any good motor factors (not Halfords type places) that supply paint to the motor trade it's used almost universally for compounding cars

3M Super Duty Rubbing Compound with a 3M Superbuff polishing pad. Its like liquid 1000 grit sandpaper. Great for removing oxidising. I finished of with farecla g6 and foam polishing pads after. Our Scorpion looks brand new after!
