Started Striping the boat down on friday night and the rest of the weekend.
It looks very bare now but it means I can start putting it back together now.
I have got a new console for it and some new jocky seats.
The tubes were very dirty so I have started to clean them, can anyone recommend products to get heavy oxidization off ?

Im going to flip the boat over next week to sort the bottom out, then im going to put it on blocks and cut the floor out to put a tank in or find the old ones.

Hi,

I used to work lots on the Artic and Pac 22, through work and that hull is deffinatly not a 22. I have an Atlantic 21 and that looks identical to mine. You will have yourself a fantastic boat. The halmatic craft are great quality with good strong design and build quality. You know what you are buying with them. Dont give up with that boat!!

I did think that it looked a lot like an Arctic when i saw the photo's, however yours has a much wider planing pad towards the stern than the Arctic hull. It will be a great boat once your done with it, depending on how old your tubes are it might be worth having some extra reinforcment put on the fixing flap at the bow before you bolt it back on, won't cost much and might save you the cost of new tubes!

Defiantly a 21. 75s and 22s have a smaller planning pad.

Arctic 22:

might be of intrest for those altering fuel tanks about or weight issues putting larger engines on one ,
just been reading that both the rnli versions
(early 900kgs or later 1,360kgs )of the Atlantic 21 has or should have a longitudal centre of gravity LCG of approx 69inches from the transom .

by the way Phil (Chewy )Hows your comming along .

Its not, been working away then ended up offshore. Home tomorrow but going away. Will hopefully get the deck sealed when I get home, only problem is it looks as though my fuel fillers are in the middle of the deck for some reason?

Hi Chaps

The hull is still upside down iv gone a bit OTT with the glass work, every chip crack is now done. It now ready for paint when the painter gets time for it.

Sorted all new gear out for it, gauges, controls and steering. The tanks are still in the workshop i went for twin tanks in the end as it seemed like a good plan. Going to run to separate systems, twin bats, twin tanks and twin oil tanks but they are the only think linked as they have to be for the outboard.

Think i may run a jack plate just to see how it runs high, but i can all ways take it off if its Crap.

But on the other hand i may sell it when its done as iv got other plans for boats.

Chewy how is yours going then chap.

Cheers
Josh
