New member from the Philippines

Dear all
Happy to find this site and I hope that I can learn a lot from all of you.
I'm danish, working in Japan and mowing to Mindoro in the Philippines in the start of next year.
I will snd my boat to Hong Kong and sail to Mindoro.
A 650 nm cruise that I am looking forward to.
We will sail two person and we estimate to do the trip in 24-30 hours.

We are preparing the trip, and good advices woul be highly appriciated.

Welcome to the forum. Are you sure about petrol being available along the route? How many days do you think the trip will take?

As mentioned above, 25-30 hours of sailing.
We will useba ATL bladdertank for the extra fuel(600L) + the 360 L in the built in tank.
That should, I believe, be enoughl

That is a lot of extra weight to carry. Have you tried the boat with that weight on it so you know how it will affect the handling? How are the weather forecasts for that area as you will be wanting as smooth a passage as possible.

The wight of extra fuel, equipment and people is less than 50% of max load.
That should not be a problem.

In regards to the weather, we only need a two day forecast with "flat water" in the south china sea. We will prepare in due time and await a good weather "window"

That is quite some trek you have planned. I don't think I would have the stamina for something like that nowadays.
