Nice to meet you all - I've been using the forums for info for a while but now I actually have a proper RIB I figure I should say hello
Proud happy owner of an Avon Seasport De Luxe 580 (I know! It should be in the med but somehow made her way to the solent - I am not complaining!!) I'm having a fantastic time getting her all cleaned up and ready to have a brilliant summer. Fortunately she is in surprisingly decent shape - just needs some TLC/cleaning and a bit of updating here and there. And of course some new seat cushions once the season is over. She's already looking a million times better after a good powerwash and clean - the lockers are now white again instead of black inside
Now if I could only find an example of what the original "sun deck" fitting looked like...they are apparently like hen's teeth tho - not least because there weren't many 580s in the first place, let alone ones with that optional extra.
