Hello

Hello, I am new here.
My base is Burnham Overy Staithe, North Norfolk, UK. I have just com into possession of an interesting RIB, the full details of which I am trying to discover. See my post "Does anybody know anything about a RibCat680?" in Ribs and Ribbing.


We looking forward to having a go, once we done a bit of fetlling.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm "only" a sibber these days but having been on the sea in one craft or another most of the past 60yrs take a broad interest so very much look forward to hearing how you get on with the rib-cat project.

Spent a fair bit of time around Blakeney in my earlier years. I remember you needed to be good with tides and shallows. Lovely area to be based.

It looks to be quite a beast, we're looking forward to giving it a go. Looking forward to a trip over to Boston for fish and chips!



Overy is a bit of a gem. I grew up here so I know the creeks and shallows pretty well and yes, tides are pretty vital.
