Which air floor

Just sold my ole sib,so time for a replacement, can’t run to an aerotec or frib at the moment so choices are
Mercury 3.2
Zodiac fastroller 3.6
Honwave 3.2
Would like something that would handle a little chop better than my 310 sti
And will be running it with a 9.8 tohatsu
Any experience with any of these airfloor would be great

I've had 4 Fastrollers… two each of the 3.4 and 3.6. They all were superb for packing to a small size and so easy to set up.

I was unlucky with quality control issues on both (new) 3.6s and they were returned to Zodiac. But that wouldn't put me off one if that was my current need.

They were all quite quick for any given outboard size.

The 3.6s suffered at times from the floor undulation and prop aeration probably due to the greater length.

If yours was a flat air floor you may notice a very small improvement in a chop with a Fastroller or Honwave 3.2… but pretty marginal.

The only real major improvement in a chop I've found is either Aerotec or a larger, heavier well loaded SIB like Jeff or The Gurnard have.

But would that Mercury... assuming flat air floor similar to your old Yamaha... and of similar length... be any different in a chop?

Don’t forget Excel. Well made boats. My 3.3m handled itself very well in the Scottish Sib outing recently. It’s also going up for sale soon as I upgrade. Hint hint ha ha
