Suffs on Sib

I'm sure its been covered before.....but can you just dab a bit of stormsure glue rather than a patch on this stone damage? Never used it yet but was afraid it might cause issues when rolling the sib up or will it be fine?
Was a little overloaded with 6 plus dog on the sib when trying to land on an island and scuffed it up a bit.
Haven't an inside space to glue patches for now, or might put on a small wear patch eventually once the warmer weather comes.

Yes of course you can but no shame in a patch and an easy location.

Hi Brin, I've used Stormsure for exactly the same purpose.

When I repaired a small puncture I also covered all the small scuffs with a blob, been on for 2 years now and it's still as good as the day I did it.

If Stormsure is anything like Aquaseal in the USA, I would cut it 50% with Cotol to thin it so it penetrates the fabric, and put as little on as possible, not causing a mound.

In reality if it were my boat, I would probably just use it. Those are very minor.

Same product. If it was me, I'd use some paint dye (ask a mix station) first and then drop in the Stormsure/Aquaseal - job's a good'un

Cheers guys. I think I will try a bit of stormsure, as I bought a three pack a while back if I can find the special safe place I put it
I can’t remember if it was black or clear I bought but the dye idea would work I suppose to disguise the scuff.

Had a look on YouTube at the tear-aid…..looks like an interesting product for the safety box Jeff
