Patching Thin Bits

Okay so the floor of the SIB was very dirty when I looked at it, which was one reason I got it for such a good price.

Anyway when cleaning it today I noticed a few small areas on the floor that are getting thin i.e. you could see more light in those areas than in other areas.

So as I have some PVC and glue I thought I would patch over them so as to prevent them becoming holes.

Question, should I patch from the inside (access is fine, would look better as the patch would be under the inflatable keel / floor) or from the outside?

Picture below shows the light areas (where my fishing rod end is near).

Its in the bow area so obviously if I don't do something at some point in time it will become a hole.
