Evening all. Thought I’d give you all an update on my rib repair.....
So I tried to take off the rubbing strake but no joy.... I tried heating it with hair dryer and heat gun but it wouldn’t budge!
So I decided to just stick a patch on as best I could.
So far so good. Repair kit from Polymarine was brilliant and the instructions were pretty self explanatory.
I’m going to give it another few days before I stick some air in it and see if it’s worked. But first impressions the patch seems really tidy and solid.
