Excel?

Anyone had any experience of owning an excel tender, looking at the 260. Good quality etc?
Thanks,
Charlie

Charlie, I bought a Excel SD260 in 2008. I still have it. Used several times in the summer, mainly on the Thames, obviously not a hard life! Kept wrapped up in the winter and inflated on a trailer in the summer. No obvious signs of wear and tear and looks good for a few more years use.

I have the super light SL260 (thinner than the SD260) and use it on the lakes and lochs. Easy to handle as I am over 70 and have to manage on my own. I have had no trouble with it over the 3 years I have had it.
Just remember if you want to use inshore at sea for fishing etc. then get the SD260 as it is classified as category C whereas the SL260 is category D
