Battery light

I have a red bay 6.1d, with a TAMD22P engine, just wondering if anyone could help me on the screaming battery light, everything is fine till about 30 seconds after I start the boat battery light comes on and buzzer is screaming, everything is charging good, and dosnt go off even after reving the engine.

Just a thought- is the alternator working - i.e. is the battery being charged once the engine is running.

If you put a multimeter across the battery terminals when engine is running you should be seeing 13-14.5 volts or thereabouts.

Hiya yes have tested batteries and charging at nearly 14, very annoying this.
