honda 90 worth?

hey

i am looking at a new rib at the moment thats fitted with a 1999 honda 90hp but looking at buying it with the view of changing the engine for something bigger! can anyone advise what the honda on the rib at the moment might be worth if i was to put it up for sale?

All to do with hours Nick, and of course year of manufacture, and condition. At 1999 it's getting on, is probably carb version not direct injection, but if it runs well, has full history, no dings in the skeg then I'll take a punt and say £2,800-£3,000 tops. That includes remotes, cables, etc.

There's an XL version, year 2000 for £3,995 on Ebay, but I think that's grossly inflated and only suits certain boat transoms.

Cheers Spartacus yea it's the carb version with crazy low hours and it runs like a dream! Guess I'll need to just stick it up for sale and see what it brings.
