Another evinrude
This is the other one, it fired up pretty much straight away (when one of us finally remembered to turn the petrol on)!!
We think this one may be even older then the other.

Thanks for the link, the lower of the two knobs are missing from dads outboard. I suspect they adjust the fuel/air mix?

Yes. One does the idle mix, the other wot mix. Something only the likes of loco normally needs to worry about as in the UK altitude is never a problem!
I have a '72 20Hp with the same 2 controls, with the same one missing...
