Anglesey - Friday 18th April

Rather than add even more replies to the main thread, I thought I'd start a new one to see who might be out on a pre-main event jolly to maybe Morfa Nefyn and the pub by the beach.
Maybe Pilot's cove too.

I know Chris said he maybe up for a steady cruise to run in the new outboard.

Anyone else around on Friday?

My plan is to boat friday

It will be a really easy trip for me though, launch with Chris then upto Vic Doc - taking the other 1/2 who is expecting

I am planning on launching about 10:00 - 11:00 ish, then dinner at 'Yr Harbwr' and then perhaps a little pootle.

If its flat calm, I could be tempted to go a little further, but I cant do anything really fun until Saturday when my new crew arrives ...

I'll be there Friday morning. Looking at getting to Chris's about 09:30ish and happy to pootle or blast according to weather, conditions, crew mood, etc.

Ah, I thought you mean Chris's for launching, you won't be near Caernarfon then?

Yeah, Launch at Chris's - Caernarfon. This is my first trip with Chris's services.

When I say short pootle, I do mean its a short trip planned. (Chris -> Vic Doc -> Chris)

'Yr Harbwr' is that chain pub thing over looking the harbour. If its nice and flat I may get to go a little further, but the Gazelle is a little too far for the other half this time.

Blimey, that is a short trip. If the tide's running in the right direction you probably won't have had a chance to get the leg down and engage forward drive before you'll be passing the entrance to the dock!

I do empathise with the crew familiarisation bit though

I'd like to go to the pub at Morfa Nefyn but you might have eaten let alone drank by the time the rest of us get there

If that's not on maybe Pilots cove.

Morfa Nefyn may be a little bit to far if its lumpy.

Plan at the mo is to be at Chris's for probably about 9:15-9:30 and then decide on destination based on the weather.
