The sun comes out in Newfoundland!

Looks like summer might be here at last. Beautiful day last Saturday here in Newfoundland. Went for a sail on soon-to-be-fatherinlaws yot & thought I'd share some pics.

1) Conception Bay.
2) Almost a RIB - hard hull FRC from the tanker in pic1
3) X hundred $ worth of J133 racing yot. Nice Kevlar sails, probably cost the price of a couple of verado's alone!

Same sort of weather as here!!!

Nice looking yacht - all the latest technology - have you noticed how many of these computer designed advanced composite lean mean racing machines have their keels fall off??? or their masts snap - or their sails tear??? Ah well that's progress I suppose!!!
