I've got an sr4 m. Haven't had time to fit the screen or use it. Filled the seat back with a fuel tank to keep it uncluttered

SR4 Bling

A S/S prop for a BF50 is a rare thing. An 18 month Fleabay search eventually came good. She's a beaut.

Here's mine, since I bought it, it's had a new trailer, vhf and antenna, Garmin 451 gps, one nav light and a rewire, redone the grab ropes, apart from that it just needed a good clean and a tune up. I'm looking for a black antenna now just to finish it off

That looks like fun! Is that a fuel cap in the middle of the seat back and does the white rope on the starboard side pull the trunk up?

Correct on both counts. You wouldn't believe that tank holds just over 16 galls

16 gallons?! That might be some kind of record for fuel in an SR4...

Hi Folks ,
As Rogue Wave wrote above - the SR 5.4 made last weekend the way home into my garage in Germany !!!
In this regard I want to say MANY THANKS to Stuart & Jasper who made this possible !
When I have seen the SR first time in september in Dover it was just a empty hull with new tubes and a not installed console but my decision was clear = THAT´S what I want !
I went back to Germany and the boat went back to Southampton to be completed . With Stuarts help a nice Osprey console was ordered but the big challenge was that I wanted to have a inbuilt 90 liter tank and the guys made it !
Furthermore I liked the idea of having a bow locker and also this was done in a excellent way !
Stuart also convinced me to look for a 90hp Yamaha which we found on the IOM .
Last weekend we met in Germany near river Rhein where we planned to test the boat .
With some “difficulties” we managed to meet and next early morning we pushed the boat from Stuart`s to my trailer .
I am aware that you guy`s are driving on the wrong side of the road but I did not know that you also put the boats with the stern front on a trailer !!
After the boat was sitting on my trailer with the bow front we went to the river to launch the boat BUT – the water level in Germany`s biggest river was so low that the slipways were completely dry and the water far !
Fortunately I went there with my old but reliable G – Class and with 4x4 + diff locks we launched the boat .
After some hesitation the Yamaha did what it suppose to do and I made the first test on the water – WHAT A PLEASURE ! The Rhein is not the North Sea but the commercial ships making as well big waves – at least enough to have fun
With a standard 19” alu prop and the engine on the lowest hole , 90 liter petrol on board and myself with around +120kg the SR made without hesitation upstream 67km/h and downstream 73km/h measured with GPS @ 5000 rpm respectively @ 5200 rpm .
Now I am waiting very much for January when I take the boat to the Mediterranean Sea where I will complete the works and will test it on the sea .
In march I will meet there with Stuart again when at the Cote d`Azur the Mistral blows 

Hey man

Your right I misread the label on the trailer that was my 8.4 trailer and it really made the Job easy. The trailer transfer was about the only thing that went as planned and itwas really easy. I also wanted to take a trailer that the German authorities wouldn't have had too much an issue with if I had a pull

Also there was supposed to be an offshore A frame on it but that will happen later.

To be honest apart from the shopping and driving (over 1500 miles in all) I didn't do much of the work. Retubed by Ribraff, Laminating done elsewhere and the engine/electricals installed at the Ribshop. I did, hoever install the hatches and the Stainless bung on the Stern

and I really wish I hadnt mentioned the special compartment inside the boat to the Customs lads!

By the way Jurgen doesn't have a G wagin he has a Gee Wagon thats one impressive 4 x 4 superbly rebuilt

Anyway enough of the lovefest I gotta get on with my trailer sale only 4 left to go now
