How low is that engine? You may need some sealant around the cowling and a snorkel!!!

Always the issue with the SR. That and a low sheer bow. Splashes over the front and back at displacement speed and reversing respectively.

True, we did, and often regret it. Bigger boats aren't so much fun. You can't play around the same. Our 5.4 with opti 90 was a rocket.

Though with babies the bigger boat is safer

Good ok searider. Being used as a tug to help the Sunseekers boys at Portland today. One point thought I might need a new collar. But the old girls shifted its ft arse in 20knt side wind
