I'm jealous, Pollack and wrasse are the best I can manage with my speargun, and the odd spider crab. All gets eaten though. The wrasse as fishcakes, mixed up with spider crabmeat. Try that one Rick Stein.

I've only ever caught school bass. I woud love to catch a clonker. Perhaps this year with the new rib, there will be more opportunities to put me over the fish....

Lets be Contriversal

Suppose this offends people - oh well, was a cracking shot. Waited 20 mins for bugs to pop out of its hole, was about 80m away. Rifle is a Ruger .22 semi auto, 1 shot in the head.

Well in that case I did indeed eat it - the chick cooked it up with some veggies.

I will not pretend though that eating it is the norm, usually I leave them for the foxes, which I then shoot.

aha

Looks like a Remmington with AICS custom stock.

What caliber?

This is my weapon of choice for the foxes - Remmington Stainless Synthetic with fluted barrel in a .223. Glass is a Swaroski 8x56.

I also have a Sako 308 for some serious action

If these pictures of guns are your best "boat related" photo memories of 2005 then I reckon your boating year must have been really shit - why has this thread turned into a gun showcase.

Who has privileges to split this thread ??? Is it only JK ???
