engines will be dated looking in europe, but most of africa runs on carbed yams.
still one of the highest volume engines made today so they say .

its funny but i have never seen a optimax in africa , etec started getting popular now as fuel prices creep up but petrol is so cheap but so unrefined old two strokes are the best value engine to run

also the law is still twin engines only if more than a couple of miles ( approx )out to sea

IF you aren't paying for the fuel the old engines are the best - an ETEC or similar doesn't like a good dunking - the old engines don't complain too much!!!
