Yamaha Spares

Hi, I am rebuilding the leg of my 1986 60hp Yamaha (3 cylinder) and need to order parts (oil seals, shims bearings etc). Can anyone suggest a company who can supply these?. I have tried Crowley Marine in the US without success.

Thanks, Tufty.

My recent Yamaha stuff has come from https://www.bhg-marine.co.uk/
Their stock, price and service has all been good.

The other thing is - is it really a Yamaha? I'm not familiar with that motor, but certainly my Yamaha is the same as a Mariner of the same vintage, and my Evinrude 5hp is the same as a Suzuki. Makes sourcing some parts easier.

BHG are great and should be able to get any Yamaha part you need. I use them exclusively for anything I need quickly or small orders. Anything expensive or that I can plan for I get from boats.net in the States. US prices are a fraction of UK prices and offsets the delivery cost once you're ordering more than $100 worth. They've also got all the parts diagrams online which is really useful even if all you need is a part number

Just checked and boats.net don't list a Yam 60 made in 1986 so perhaps Matt is right - maybe it's not a Yamaha?
Are there any other markings on castings etc that would identify it - maybe a Mariner?

Or if not another manufacturers engine rebadged, could be a European only model - different carbs or rating or something compared to US version. It used to happen a lot.
