Yamaha 15hp short shaft two stroke
1986 Yamaha two stroke 15hp. Short shaft.
Don't let the age put you off, I stripped it down in 2015 and replaced all crank seals and drive shaft housing (common problem on these), new water pump etc. Used twice on SIB before selling the SiB.
It runs like a new engine. Nothing is broken, cracked or corroded. No stripped threads or oversize bolts.
Paintwork has a few scrapes and scratches but for age is pretty good.
It is the 15D model which is a more robust engine than the later mid 90's 15hp which is not as long lived. I have saved it for another sib but I have too many cars / boats / projects!
I would like £495 for it, I can pallet it up and ship it within uk.
