Thanks for forwarding the links, I have been quoted £5200 for a new Suzuki DF40 (5 years warranty), I am just checking there isn't a good second hand motor out there before I buy new !!

No problem. Mid range outboards are always in demand, whether 2-stroke or 4-stroke, and I suppose only become available when someone is repowering. Used outboard prices still surprise me, even for older engines, but I suppose it comes down to supply and demand.

I have a 60hp Merc 2S that I have just removed from my RIB because of a repower.

As its an old 2S it will be for sale under 2K

I have some video of it running and can post the cylinder pressures.
