My Ullmans have black covers on. They are very tailored & close fitting, you can’t even tell that they’re covers tbh. Maybe Scotseats do something similar.

Speaking to one of the Ullman clan when I was at Seawork, he said it was the upholstery that tended to fail on the Ullman seats and that the Cordura covers are a good idea.

I think if you gave a cover maker one of the seats they would be able to make a decent cover.

They are Ullmans with covers on. You never know, they might be mint underneath. In which case £350 is a steal.

Mmm, yes, wish those Ullmans hadn't been posted as I've been messaging the vendor.

He's promised to send me some images of them with the covers off.
I get the impression they need the covers but could be recovered properly.

I'm more worried about the state of the shocks and spring blades.

Didn't want one of you lot to beat me to them after I'd spotted them this morning.
So I'll let you know what state they are in when I collect them later this week.

Looks like I'll be doing a bit more Fibreglass work on my RIB when the weather warms up in the spring than I'd planned.

£7k!!! They’re obviously aimed at the commercial market that have H&S obligations towards whole body vibration. I paid considerably less than that for a pair of ex-demo Ullmans. I dread to think what they would cost now.

i know to say i was a little surprised at the quote is an understatement and they advertise to be the affordable alternative. the scot seats on ebay were the wider ones with wingbacks which to be honest would be snug across my humber but they came with all the bells and whistles and a special order colour at a total cost of £5200 or so .i am hoping a basic pair without any optional extras will come in at a price i can afford fingers crossed
