What about the fin though would that have been fitted because its stern heavy or are there other reasons for fitting it ?

as a freshman myself having owned a similar sized...

as a freshman myself having owned a similar sized boat for half a season the following things come to mind looking at the pics .

It seems a huge engine for a 5m is it within what zodiac spec.
