some folks on here have been known to dive in after the anchor, perhaps they had to check it was set properly or to help it dig in!!!!!:eek:

how about still using chain but use a shorter...

how about still using chain but use a shorter length so you still get some horizontal pull but not the extreme weight of a decent amount of chain. not using any chain might be a bit risky or...
