Personally, I think the law doesn't go far enough. 90% of people I see towing trailers are so bad at it that they need extra training,yet they don't think they do and shout loudly that they know what...

Basically if you have a cat B licence only,once the MAM of the tow vehicle exceeds 2750kg, you are restricted to a 750kg MAM trailer.

It would effectively make it a 750kg trailer-so you couldn't exceed 750kg with it. Without brakes, it couldn't legally go over 750kg on the road anyway.
If there's no weight plate or serial number...
