Okay, so connecting it with clamps directly to the car battery would be okay? And of course bypass the current battery, I won't put the car battery through the internal charger of the pump....

That's exactly what it is! I went today and bought a multimeter and a multi connector charger that you plug in the wall. Luckily one of the connectors fits in the pump.

It's just an assumption that the battery is flat. However, I'm trying the pump by pressing the on button when it's not connected to the boat too, and just partially hold a finger over the blow hole...

Yeah it actually seems weird that the pump is so good, when the charger is utter crap....

Everything is brand new, I've only used the pump once on it's initial charge. I understand now that I could put the connector on another charger.

But why don't I want the car charger that came...

I just got a brand new Bravo BST HP Batt, and I wonder if there's something wrong with it. The battery doesn't seem to get charged.

It worked well out of the box, but I have not been able...
