There are a few pictures on their website and Facebook page tat suggests they don't likes using killcords.

I'd be a lot worried if they were taking young people out on the water.

If you had remotes fitted to the engine did you also have a remote kill switch?

Our engines are tiller steered so the switch is on the engine. From resistance testing it is definitely a switch...
