It is not overheating, it runs fine. I just want to test to make sure the alarm system is working so if it ever does overheat I will hear the alarm

2001 BF 90, what activates the overheat alarm, I tried grounding the rear temp sensor near spark plugs and it lights up the red overheat light in remote but no alarm. I tried grounding other sensor...
