Haha, it is amazing what you hear on it... I just listen in and that's quite interesting...
I remember listening to a mayday over the summer and amazed at how cool and calm the skipper on the radio...

Cool, thanks for the advice.... Been out on our rib twice and have a bit of experience on other people's boats... Feel ok in good conditions but wouldn't want to fall into bad habits...

I agree about having faith in the engine... I guess just being new to it I haven't built the confidence up yet...
Maybe I could use it as a good excuse to get a bigger rib with twin engines on it :)

Yesterday out and about on the rib and fishing with some feathers... I felt it was better to drift with the engine ticking over rather than turn it off... Just in...
