It just needs standard galvanised section chassis, they last well enough ..... the issue is the brakes ... cast iron drum brakes are not fit for purpose on a trailer that gets...

Poor Quality Trailer parts
My trailer, like many others, uses off the shelf ALKO axles.
Disappointed today to commence my Annual pre-season service of trailer, and on all bar one of the brake shoes the linings had come off....

Had a reply from Everbuild / Sika support .... they do not have an adhesive that will work with HDPE. Standard Hi-grab adhesive sealant will initially work, but the HDPE will form a new surface...

I have had very poor experience of this type of adhesive, and I think very thin film adhesive not ideal in this situation ..... will continue to try find rubber...
