The floor was spongy so I opened it up a bit and found the obvious. Maybe I should replace the plywood/fiberglass sandwich with aluminum?

1990 10' avon HP?
I just purchased a 10' Avon rib that came with two fiberglass seats and flip up launching wheels for $100.00 (US) it needs one new valve and a couple of patches but is useable. I can not find any...

This last post is what I am seeking, The rib shown however is much larger than an SR4 which is my concern. The leaning post would be required. I can stand and drive our big boat (displacement hull)...

SR4 mods?
We have owned our 1982 SR4 (ex USCG) since 1986 and had great fun with it. Do to a low back injury I can no longer drive in a seated position. I must stand up to let my legs act as shock absorbers....
