The 530 and 580 is much more like the old Tornado in shape and rough water handling. It not as roomy as the 550, and more wedge shaped looking from above. I have 70hp on my 530 and that gives 32 kt...

Standard is PU which I choose, hypalon is a cost free option though. Laurence at Barnet Marine, the producer, prefers PU so I went for that.

My new XS 530 with 3 diff seating conf

Will be very versitile, tow post is detachable. When used for coaching sailing I will have a Garmin Wind Sensor on a mast sttached to the tow post. Then you get all wind info on the GPS screen.
