Wig Bay suitable at all tides. sand bar in middle of loch known locally as the Scar can be a problem at low tide but easy to navigate round it. Runs south from top of bay and can be seen above water...

I have a 500kg jockey winch and it will pull car and boat up a sandy beach when wheels are spinning. Rolling load is much less than actual weight of rig.

I use guage that came with my Pro 9 man. Tubes are much harder than you would expect if you rely on feel. Boat handles better also.
