Wanted : Outboard engine 115HP
Posted this in the engines forum, then realised it should be in here.....

If anyone knows of a 115HP for sale I am keeping my eyes out for a suitable engine. I am looking for either a Johnson Ocean Runner 115HP circa 1996 onwards or one of the later Ficht Ram 115's however I realise that they are not that common in the UK.

I am willing to consider anything however.

Chris, is not the johnson 90 enough power for your osprey 5.25 or is it because you carry lots of kit and people?

The rude ocean pro is the same as the johnson ocean runner, if that helps?

Tim the Johnson gives me about 37 knots at the moment which is good however the boat definately feels like it could handle a bit more.

Chris, cama across a Yamaha 115 at the Dingy and Rib Warehouse in Plymouth the other day, looks nice condition!

THanks Matt, will check it out. There is also one on eBay at the moment although it comes attached to a Phantom.
