SR4.7 or similar narrow rib

OOOps. I managed to accidentally sell my hull at the weekend, so the upgrade project has just been brought forward slightly! :

Due to dimensional limitations of my garage, I'm looking for something less than 2.1m wide, and ideally between 4.5 and 5m long. As I still have my engine and the pile of bits that currently passes for my spare parts pool (could be brought back to life with about £70 of parts) at the moment, current fave is a good old SR4.7, but there are other hulls out there that will fit.

Ideally I'm looking for a bare hull, but if one comes up with engine at the right price you'll then see an ad for two Suz O/Bs in the bits & pieces section!

If immediate pickup isn't a requirement I will be bouncing up & down the country for work etc, so could travel as long as immediate uplift isn't required, Manchester or noth of there I could do as a day trip if space is required urgently!

Anything out there? In the meantime, anyone need a crew?

Our latest creation is 2.1 metres wide and 6 metres overall, and just over 5 metres hull length - we could build you a bare hull with floors and tubes if you want as well as supply any mouldings you might need. It is also available in 5 or 5.5 metre overall lengths!

I'm sure you've probably seen this but :

These hulls can look good with a tapered tube on

Would you be interested in a 6.20 Avon adventure open? RIB + Trailer would cost max. £6.500 including delivery. You can pm me for details. Thanks

Ribraff,

Yeah, seen it, but that's gonna need one helluva patch to hold air!

Conipa,

Nice idea, but even assuming it would go through the door, the garage extension would probably cost more than the boat!

The search continues........

Another rib to consider is the Ribcraft 4.8, fits in a garage deflated with the trailer modified (hitch removed)

I had considered both those ideas, but if I'm going to go down the "dismantling the trailer" route, I might as well go pick up one of the many SR5.4 hulls that are kicking around for a song.... Also in/deflating every time falls into the "hassle" category, which I am also trying to minimise! Ideally I want to be able to open the garage door, hitch on, drive off. (and more inmportantly, when we get back put it away quickly.

Other reason for keeping it sub 5m is that the juice burners I have in the garage won't be too underpowered for it.......
