5-5.5 meter RIB project wanted

Hi all,

I’m after a RIB between 5 & 5.5 meters to use as a project this year. Ideally a deep V hull with a trailer. Asking price is to be fair, reflecting the condition of the RIB. Ill look at anything from bare hull (£0 up wards) to a running boat needing TLC (max of £4k as im looking for something to keep me busy for a while not a weekend).

Engine wise. I do have a very tidy Mercury 75hp 2 stroke. So an engine is not a must although ill look at anything that has good compression and controls.

I’ve looked on ebay but nothing has taken to me as of yet. I live in Portsmouth and regularly travel to Cornwall so i can always view on route or make arrangements to travel up country for something of interest.

hi there Richi

i have a avon sea rider 5.4 metres. on trailer. with 80 horse mercury engine. engine needs attention. tubes are good. 1 small hole in 1 section
needs steering linkages and bench seat rebuilding.
no photos at the moment.
