glassing down

cut glass mat strips to size, got all my materials to hand, roller, brushes, acetone, rags, mixed 200ml of resin
wet the area with resin add the matt, paint more resin on, roll out any air bubbles..........work fast!

I have done 3 layers.....now its drying

how many layers should I do?

Hi Matt, and thanks!

the jockey seat has a solid bottom, and is laid on top of two layers of mat and resin (rather than screwed down)........so stuck

Not totally relevant to your excellent rebuild - but where did you get the paddle holders from as I would like to stick on something similar to hold my paddle/boat hook. Thanks
