What make?

Hello,

I am considering buying this rib, but the owner has no idea of the rib make or age.

It is around 6.9m long. There is an Olmec sign on the rib, but I am guessing the tubes were replaced by this company, as opposed to the rib being made by them.

Any idea who made this rib?

Also the hull looks like a racing version - is this correct? If so would this make the rib relatively unstable except in calm waters?

Thanks!

Try sending a PM to Ribraff and get him to look at the post.

If he re-tubed it he might remember what it is for sure.

The engine is included - it has 437 hours and is a 2002 model. It is in good condition, but the propeller needs to be changed as it has cracks in it.

Ribraff came back to me straight away – thanks for the heads up Nasher.

He confirmed that it one of his racing hulls built around 11 years ago which matches the engine age.

I have gone back to him with a few more queries – depending on what he comes back with I will decide how to move forward.
