35 years with a two year stint in Montreal thrown in. Yes, I find it increasingly difficult to understand what UK people are talking about - as

-most Brits have crappy diction,
-Half the phrases used, seem to start with the "F" adjective
-most people seem to speak with their mouths half closed
-the vocabulary seems to have changed considerably

BUT Garfish seems to be more understandable than I first thought.

I find it easier to understand the yanks or wait for it - the Scots.
And as for manners..... forget it.

Jonathan

Having seen some of the pictures you kindly posted, a visit to weight
watchers would'nt do any harm. What happen to the hair? stress?

Blimey - what happened there ...

I was making a joke about you prefering yank and scotish accents to english ones - and you hurl a load of abuse at me. Usually when people put a smilley on the end of a comment it means you are supposed to take it as tongue in cheek.

im sorry to have sparked off an evil side to you perhapse its not your grasp of the english language that you are loosing - but your sense of humour.

lighten up a little - i think you are missing the point that most people get in their boats cause they like to have fun in them. most people chat on here for one of 2 reasons 1. to gain or give information 2. to entertain themselves.
