After getting the console off and discovering how badly it had been bodged the following took place.

Stainless steel bands holding the back half of the console together removed (the fuel tank was obviously an after thought and rather than removing the console to fit the tank the back was simply cut off and the tank pushed in)
Filled ant holes that i didn't need and made some internal bracing to hold the back end of the console on.
Prepared the surface for the fibre glass.
Fibreglasses the complete console and then flow coat.

Here are some pictures. Fairly pleased with the outcome!!!!

Fit and adjust some new rollers to my trailer.

Fit and adjust new winch post and which

Fit and adjust new trailer brake internals with also a diy flushing kit.

Repaint my lower gearbox as the local outboard services did a crap job runs and paint defects all over it.

Get my upper cowling repainted as its a mariner at the moment but I reckon mercurys look a lot better.

Get my upper engine serviced carbs cleaned, spark plugs etc et and throttle cables adjusted.

Fit new fuel hoses throughout the boat.

Fit new fuel/water seperator.

Get the pervious owner hull damage repaired after he took the hull down to the grp matting in quite a few places.

Get the hull polished.

Sort out the electrics as they are sporadic at best.

And obviously lots more than I could ever think of
