Mercury are about to release a 500hp v10 according to rumours, 1000hp is what you need on a 37ft boat

Are we allowed to change our mind on this thread?
I suggest Merry Fisher & some blunt responses followed. I went out on one. Anchored & puked.
Axopar 28 cabin seems to be cathing my eye repeatedly now.

Botnia Targa any day. Yet to helm one but see a lot around here and them seem a well set boat and I've been impressed at their sea keeping alongside the rib

I like it, dreadnought bow, high freeboard, enough cabin space to put the kettle on in a F6-F8.

It's also got a loo for the Mrs and a fridge for the beer and with the front bowthruster an old fart like me can easily handle her

I had to do it as my boat is now on the water for 12 months a year, after my whole life with ribs - beautiful boat though!
It’s a Cormate U23 Supermarine with a 200hp Verado.

That is nice!

But I'd have a yacht. 40 footer would be nice and go a loooong way away.

In an ideal world, I definitely would too!
When I bought it we came from Poole to Hayling Island in a force 6/7 and it was absolutely bloody wonderful.
I may have been starved of boating for a little while but god it was fun!
