Wakeboarding Southampton Water

Please can anybody tell me is there a designated watersport area in Southampton water?

From memory the area is only accessible near HW.

I think it would be more pleasant heading down into the Solent personally.

The only ares are aty the top and bottom of S water. At the top you can use the area by Ealing, it gets a bit small at low water but still possible, at the bottom there is an area just N of Calshot, you should ask the activites centre permission first. Outside of Soton Water there is an area marked of by Hill Head to the East slightly.

According to the NTM from ABP "the area North West of Calshot Spit is no longer designated for water skiing"
