I am going to follow advice though and have a look at Ribcraft as well

Er, that's shouting bargain to me! If it is as together as it looks in the pictures, that'd be a well sorted boat.

Seats look cracking. Engines aren't exactly new, but if looked after that shouldn't be a problem.

I say get 4.5k in cash, go up there and put it in his hand and drive away with a rib.

not sure about the way it sits on the trailer though? Its 300 mile trip from here to there some damage could be caused to the hull bouncing around.

I was not looking to buying another RIB until June though...

Probably a good package, thirsty with twins though and those motors are pre-1990. 36knots, not likely, maybe 36mph at a push.
Those Mariners are rebadged Yamahas, bullet proof engines, should'nt give any trouble. Engines are manual start and manual tilt though, not sure I could put up with that for best part of 5k.

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't that Humber on Ebay an Ocean Pro hull? In which case it's light years better than an Assault. And a bargain. I'd be off to see it pronto as well.

yeah i think you may be right, its an older version so not comparable to the ones they build now, its deff not a destroyer or assault hull that we see today!
