I use UK tides. Have it displayed as a widget so seeing tide info for the day is an easy glance. Tap widget for more info, including 7 days of prediction. Has proved accurate and I have found it's the best out of several I've used so far.

I downloaded 'tidesplanner' when I fist got an iphone because it was free...

But if you want to look at a future date then you have to pay for it to be unlocked.

It's the only one I've tired but worth it for me as I stay near the beach in the summer and the iphone is the only method of getting on line.

If it's still free you can download it and have a play and if you pay to unlock the currents then you'll have them too.

I also use XCweather as they have a rose tint on their weather predictions it's not an app as such but there is a way to make it a button on your phone, once you are looking at it turn your phone over to landscape to see the correct view.

Hope that helps dude

+1 for tidesplanner.

I agree it's not so good for forward planning (more than 24 hours) on the free version but I find it really useful for everyday use.

I am sure other apps have it but I really like the line you can place on the tidal curve. Tells me exactly when I can leave the harbour and what time I have to get back by without doing manual secondary port calculations!

I have UK Tides on my iPhone which is pretty accurate and has lots of tidal data for lots of ports/areas. I'd recommend that - if they do it on Android as per the OP.
