Highfield Ocean Master 540

Decided not to go to the LIBS as its a long way from Devon for a couple of hours browsing.

However, I did buy this from the show so it wasn't a complete waste of time. Highfield Ocean Master 540/Honda 75.

Very nice too - looked at this rib quite closely - a mate has just bought a second hand one (bit smaller)

I was well impressed with the Highfield's performance and reliability in the Round Ireland 2013, and if its good enough for Honda and the RYA...

One observation: It looks like a good rib and they got great reviews. Is the cushion on the seat a bit thin?

Best of luck

Thanks TSM.
I had exactly the same seat and cushion on my last rib, and I tend to mix sitting/standing at the helm so didn't notice an issue. The cushions appear to be a bit thin, but the foam is fairly high density.

Another reference to Ireland: Steve and Dave had the same seats fitted to Black Panther.
