thinking of upgrading - advice pls

HI, just back from a great holiday - now thinking of upgrading the rib. The current one is an Avon 4.65 SuperSport - which is really well fitted out, well set up, is great for towing ... but is a tad too small, slams like hell - and can be quite wet and uncomfortable in a heavy chop...

I'd like to stick with something which I can tow ona single axle trailer - so I think that limits me to someting 6 to 6.5 metres...

2 boats I've seen so far (havent looked much yet) impress me - the Hysucat, and a Cobra 6m which I saw on the same campsite we were on in France...

I need a boat which has the good points of the Avon, but is bigger, and with a deeper vee hull to give a softer drier ride, and to cope better with heavier seas. I'd prefer bucket seats (and/or a bench) to all saddle type seats, and above all - I'd like a boat that's well finished and that wont start flaking and peeling etc (as many I've seen do....)

Any advice ?

Is the Hysucat suitable for towing - I've read that they handle differently to normal ribs - also - can they turn reasonably tightly (some cats dont turn easily...) ?

Avon 580

Have a look at the Avon 580 Sea Sport De-Luxe, I have just purchased one and am really pleased with it, gives a very soft ride, I had the Avon 620 before and am convinced the 580 is a far better ride compared to the 620. It seems much firmer in the water, gives a far softer landing, very comfortable, got the bucket type seats I think you are talking about, got a SKI locker in the hull, so much storage front and back. Will post some pics after this weekend coming as having some pics taken of it for AVON as it is the only one so far with BLUE tubes in Europe.

No thank goodness, was nowhere near at the time. So there is another Nauti Buoy out there, we saw Nauti Girl whilst waiting to fuel at Yarmouth about 4 weekends ago.
