15" x 5' and 18" x 4' isn't an offcut!

No, but it would leave a small offcut, out of an 8' x 4' sheet.

If it needs a whole sheet so be it - I bet its still cheaper than tek-dek/ flexiteak/ proper real teak ...............

Tim - not heard anything - but am going to go over on Tuesday to see what they have ;

I reckon I can get away with ;

Teak Cabin Sole. 0.6mm veneer with white stripes.
For Cabin Sole and internal areas only

from ;

http://www.kjhowells.com/hardwoods_plywoods.html

I'll have a chat to see what else is around that may suit for you .

Pete

Hi Pete. Sorry, totally forgot about this. The gearbox on the boat has gone so the teak hatch cover suddenly wasn't such a priority! Let me know what you find - I must purchase something.

No probs - have you got a photo of where you are trying to cover ? - just so I can get a better idea for you .

Hope you can fix/ replace it as simply as possible.

Firstly what a great company, good advice etc. For Tim the advice was the internal stuff will last about a month in the open as the glue will fall apart. They dont have sheets of external as its all to order for shape etc. I suspect the cheapest way may be to replace with treadmaster or the like, or give him a ring direct. Am happy to pick up anything you may end with and drop over......

Job Done

Got round to cutting the new floor to shape & bonding in . Much nicer than a bit of six year old Nylon carpet ! Gives what is a 'small' area a much bigger feel.
