Suzuki DF25 over revving

Hi All,

I'm looking for some advice. I have an Avon Adventure 400 with a Suzuki DF25. The engine runs fine apart from when I'm running it flat out. When I do this, the warning light comes on and it seems to missfire (or go into limp home mode?). Does this sound like I'm over revving it, and if so, should I change the prop?

Cheers,

Paul

Sure Does, I do not know your engine so cannot give solid advice you need to know the Engine rev band Limit and what RPM your pulling when she goes "Limp" oh err matron. then this will give people an idea to advise on Prop Pitch

Hi Paul, did you find out any more about the Suzuki, only I have the same engine with the same issue. The mechanic told me it is either water in the fuel causing mis-fire or the carbs are not balanced. Thanks Martin
